Dr. Angela LI
Assistant Professor,
School of Medical Health Sciences
Dr. Angela Li’s research focuses on central nervous system function and currently, the main topic is sleep problem. Started from my master degree study, the first research area was on regulation of respiratory center in rats. My PhD research moved to the area of development of vestibular system and motor regulation and focused on the neurotransmitters and receptor development in rats.
My research helps to figure out ways to control the regulation and development of brain. In Tung Wah College, my research interests shift to human health, especially the sleep disturbance. I study on the environmental factors and sleep, especially the electronic instrument use on sleep. I am interested in the educational topics too. As a teacher, how to improve the teaching and learning is an interesting research area.
