Mr Joe WONG
COO of Sengital Group
Joe Wong graduated from CUHK with a B.Eng. in 2004, receiving notable academic awards during his studies. Since 2004, he has published various research papers, recently publishing pioneering work on IoT-related system. He currently serves as COO of Sengital Group. With over 20 years of experience, he has obtained 20+ patents and trademarks, in collaboration with the Group’s Chairman, Ir Prof. Hiu Fung Lam, JP. He has led R&D efforts, winning various industry awards, and oversees the company operations.
He is active in Hong Kong’s tech community, previously holding leadership roles in CUHK’s Engineering Alumni Association and Technology Incubation Network. In 2013, he was awarded as the Outstanding Alumni of Dept. of Automation and Computer-Aided Engineering, CUHK.
His innovations have received international recognition, including Gold Medal of the 42nd International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva and a “Spirit of Hong Kong” nomination in 2014. Leveraging his extensive industry and R&D expertise, he has served as a guest lecturer at universities.
