Summary
Tung Wah College’s Translational Research Centre for Digital Mental Health (TRC-DMH) successfully held the Innovative Technology Workshop on December 16, 2025, titled Digital Mental Health Services: Current Practices and Impact. The workshop was delivered by Mr. Stephen Wong, Deputy Director of The Mental Health Association of Hong Kong.
In the workshop, Mr. Stephen Wong shared in-depth insights into the Mental Health Association of Hong Kong's innovative achievements in digital mental health services over the past decade. These included the award-winning "Chill Lab" youth mental health program and the "Men's Space" mental support application designed specifically for men's emotional needs. He also explored how to effectively integrate digital intervention models with traditional face-to-face services to expand service reach, address the needs of diverse groups, and enhance the overall effectiveness of mental health support.
The workshop was conducted simultaneously in person and online, attracting hundreds of participants from academia, industry, and the community.
